Human Development

Iquitos, Peru

Anna is passionate about sustainable human development aligned with the natural world.

Based in Iquitos, Peru, she is bilingual in Spanish and English. Her work in the Peruvian Amazon focuses on intercultural project teams working on climate change, poverty reduction and sexual health, and post-growth entrepreneurship.

Anna supports intercultural communication by guiding respectful, honest conversations. The servant-leader model approach she uses applies empathy and listening to build community and increase the well-being of people in it.

People want digestible climate information that brings the topics they already care about closer to them. It needs to be usable, shareable, and simply actionable. It’s best done in ways that respect the true adult learning process which are inherently iterative and collaborative. EWC not only offers all this but models it beautifully.

“To dare is to lose one’s footing momentarily. Not to dare is to lose oneself.”
